Cut squares of newsprint larger than nails. Apply a base coat of polish. When nails are completely dry, soak them in alcohol, then press newsprint on your nail and slowly pull off. Apply a top coat to seal.

Photos by Tamryn Henn

A few months ago my good friend and talented photographer Tamryn Henn took some pictures of me in the RedRock studio. As some of you may or may not know I am not so fond of having my picture taken but I really did feel quite comfortable with her snapping away whilst just getting on with things. Tamryn has also taken some pictures of my boyfriends band Celtic Rasta, I will try and post these soon....You can check out Celtic Rasta's music here.
If you would like to see more of Tamryn's amazing photography click here.

Love & Peace,

KIM DAUL

This Korean Model really is a beauty! I am in love with most things Korean as having lived there for sometime back in 2008 and Daul is no exception! Daul had worked with some of the big boys in Fashion and was a true style icon. Dual was found dead at the tender age of 20 in a Paris apartment.

She oozed natural style!

Fave Fragrance

For me it HAS to be Givenchy Hot Couture...I love the sweet, vintage tones of this scent, it's almost edible! I was brought a bottle when I was about fifteen and I have been an avid follower since, my dresser is never without!! If your unaware then I would suggest that next time your browsing the perfumery ask for a tester it really is one of the best. If you would like to puuuuurchase you can do so here.

Scratch and Sniff,

Kiran. xx

Simple..but the best!!

I love these loose fitting style tees they wear so well and are great to just throw on. This one is from ASOS and prices start at only £9 and come in 3 different colours.
You can buy yours here.

MEADHAM KIRCHHOFF SS 11

So Sping/Summer 11 Collections are now firmly upon us and for me it's all about 'Meadham Kirchhoff', I am just in love with this collection! Its so striking with lots of bold and pastel colours and layering of floaty fabrics with such a mischievous twist. I love the styling with acid colour flashes and mixes in the central parted hair with Peggy Moffit/ Twiggy inspired eyes all topped off with the cutest little collars.

Its not difficult to see why Meadham Kirchhoff were awarded with the Fashion Forward Prize for 2011 along with Todd Lynn and Peter Pilotto.

Enjoy,

Lots of Love,

Kiran. xx

What I'm listening to: Marques Toliver: White Sails

Was watching Jools Holland a little while ago and was treated to the musical genius of Marques Toliver (who infact shares the sames birthday with me!!) The music is described as Classical RnB...interesting: I think so!
Its really worth a listen! Whether you like it or not you have to appreciate the singing whilst playing the violin!

Big LOVE,

Kiran. x
